THE RIGHT SOUND IN THE RIGHT ROOMS

Home comfort. Office atmosphere. One considered plan.

A good audio installation balances coverage, appearance, control and connectivity. We help define the rooms and listening zones before choosing equipment.

Plan independent listening areas or grouped playback using compatible Sonos products. Start with the rooms you use most and leave a sensible path for future expansion.

04 / SERVICE

In-ceiling & in-wall speakers

Explore discreet passive speakers powered by suitable amplification. Plan cable routes, access, speaker compatibility and any patching or finishing work before cutting begins.

05 / SERVICE

Sonos Amp integration

Use a compatible Sonos Amp setup where passive speakers are part of the design. Check the existing speaker wiring and load before connecting equipment or reusing older installations.

06 / SERVICE

Network, app & system setup

Review supported network conditions, device compatibility and owner accounts. Configure the agreed rooms and controls, test playback and explain everyday use.

LESS GUESSWORK. BETTER LISTENING.

Choose your listening zones before your equipment.

A home and an office use sound differently. The right starting point is a short conversation about where music belongs, who controls it and how loud it needs to be.

Speaker locations and wiring

Balance visible speakers with discreet installation options and realistic cable routes.

The network behind the audio

BEFORE WE QUOTE

What affects an audio installation quote?

A small office music system and a wired whole-home installation need different scopes.

Rooms, zones and equipment

Speaker selection, amplification and the number of listening areas drive the design.

Existing wiring and access

Ceiling access, finished surfaces and reusable cables affect installation work.

Network and ongoing services

Network improvements, music services and optional business features are considered separately.

Share the room count, a floor plan or photos, and any equipment you already own. We can assess what belongs in the new design.

LOCAL TEAM. CONNECTED THINKING.

Los Angeles audio installation with the network in mind.

Based in Culver City, ITTC brings low-voltage and IT planning to home and office audio projects in Los Angeles. Audio can be coordinated with your network infrastructure, structured cabling or office relocation.

For business spaces, a personal streaming subscription does not automatically provide public-playback rights. Music licensing and optional Sonos Pro services should be reviewed for your use case.

ANSWERS BEFORE YOU START

Sonos & audio installation FAQs

Practical answers to help you plan the next step.

Yes. ITTC plans home and office audio around the property and its users. Home projects may focus on separate rooms and grouped listening; office projects often focus on background music, sensible coverage and staff controls. Equipment selection, supported network conditions and account ownership are reviewed before installation.

Compatible Sonos products can be organized into rooms and grouped for playback. The design depends on the equipment, network and listening goals. A group of rooms is not the same as independently amplified speaker zones, so we confirm what can play separately before specifying the system.

Potentially. Sonos Amp is designed to power passive speakers, but the speaker type, electrical load, wiring condition and arrangement must be suitable. An existing ceiling installation should be checked rather than connected on assumption. ITTC reviews the proposed layout against the manufacturer’s requirements.

The system needs a supported network arrangement. Sonos states that control devices and products must be on the same subnet, and that guest portal networks and WPA Enterprise configurations are not supported. An office network may therefore need planning with its administrator rather than simply connecting audio to guest Wi-Fi.

Possibly. Send the model names and the app or system you currently use. Product generation, software compatibility and the intended setup determine which devices can be retained together. We assess the equipment before recommending reuse, additions or replacement; compatibility is not assumed.

Commercial or public playback needs appropriate rights; consumer music subscriptions should not be assumed to cover business use. Sonos Pro is an optional business offering with features such as remote management, scheduling and commercially licensed music. Availability, supported products and subscription terms should be checked for the location and intended use.

The scope depends on the room count, equipment, speaker wiring, access and any network improvements. A tabletop-speaker setup is different from concealed wiring and passive speakers across several rooms. ITTC prepares a project-specific scope rather than quoting one price for every home or office.

This page offers independent Sonos installation and low-voltage integration services from ITTC. It does not claim Sonos dealer authorization, certification or endorsement. Product warranty terms, hardware sourcing and installation responsibilities should be confirmed in the proposal.
